Polish Christmas: Pai Natal for Erasmus students
UBI prepared for the Erasmus students a place where they can spend Christmas Eve. Because during the holidays most of the foreign students that remained in Covilhã are Polish, their Christmas will have a Polish influence.
> George TomaThe Erasmus students from UBI will have their own Christmas. For the ones who will stay in Covilhã during the holidays, the university gave a place where they can prepare their own food. Almost 30 student will celebrate together with traditional meals from their countries. The university also will assure them the grocery transport from the supermarket to the place where they will prepare the Christmas dinner.
A three students committee was founded and the entire evening will be organized by them. Katarzyna Plago, from Poland, one of the organizers, says that the Christmas dinner will be a Polish one, because most of the students that remained in Covilhã are from Poland. They didn’t decide yet the way in which the dinner will be prepared but they have two plans.
Most of the foreign students left Portugal at the beginning of December, to spend holidays home. Some will return for the second semester, but there are some Erasmus students that finished their activity at UBI.
