Atrás das nuvens

'Atras das nuvens’ (Drama, Portugal, 2007, color, 86 minutes, directed by Jorge Queiroga) is a movie about the adventures of a ten-year old child named Paulo and Vitor, his grandfather from Alentejo. The boy, who spent his childhood with his mother in Lisbon as he’s father died when he was born, discovers the great impressive past of Vitor, the former wine producer. His grandfather story fascinates him, as they both take a soul trip beyond hills, plains or vine plantations and everything that kept them away from each other. The film was considered the best movie in 2007, winning the Great Prize at the ‘Coimbra Caminhos do Cinema Português’ Festival.
